Before the BMW R1150RT there was the Kawasaki 250 twin and two Honda 750 Four models
(the red one was stolen)

Those were great bikes to learn the joys of riding, but the BMW is a dream come true.
It goes anywhere there is road and does it smoothly, quickly and without complaint.

The images below were taken by a professional on Mulholland Drive just west of the biker bar/hangout - the Rock Store. The top two are new ones taken in March 2015 on the new 20013 K1600GT. The lower two are 2012 and 2011 photos on the 20104 R1150RT boxter.

Each ride is wonderful just past the Rock Store (note my concentration) and the ride is also great fun through
the many canyons like Topanga Canyon and back on Mulholland Drive; I'll be back again soon.

If you look at the photographer - it might be your last act!

Luckily, sometimes I get Barbie to come along. This is our 2009 Christmas card

We spent one anniversary at Barona Casino and visited Julian on the bike. The pie was great!

Barbie rides, but not operates the bike. Her reward is
breakfast in Julian and great coffee.

Northern Arizona and Utah Ride Through Monument Valley
The Grand Canyon, Sedona and Utah - (1,600 miles/4 days)

Big Sur and Point Lobos was a great ride with curves, curves and more curves

The ride to Mammoth and Virginia Lakes was wonderful both times.
The bike was L O A D E D Full; after Schat's Bakkery I was too.

The purpose of the rides was to work on the Virginia Lakes cabin
for Jeff, Bill and Steve and their wives. Mark the carpenter - who knew
