I did not plan to
start making knives, but friends have enlisted
my skills to that end. The first knife was a favor for th guy
watches our dogs when we travel. He wanted to give his dad
a suitable gift and a knife was his answer.
The wood is bocote and the blade is Damascus steel with 250
or so folds made during formation.
One of my friends
is a bonified "knife guy" who
usually has one or more interesting knives to show
us when we see him. I bought the blade and he selected
deep red bloodwood for the knife scales.
